Elder Creek Jobs: Landscape Maintenance Lead
Elder Creek Landscapes is seeking an experienced full-time Landscape Maintenance Lead to join its maintenance team. We are a full service design, build and maintenance firm committed to creating and maintaining beautiful, quality crafted landscapes with an ecologically minded approach.
This position is responsible for the overall management of maintenance accounts and crews. Duties include: landscape maintenance as well as scheduling, material tracking, evaluating new accounts for bidding purposes, insuring good client communication and client satisfaction, as well as personnel management.
Required skills:
- Irrigation management and maintenance
- Lighting system repair skills
- Knowledge of appropriate fertilizer application and pest control
- Planting, pruning and knowledge of plant care.
- Good record keeping skills
- Must have the ability to manage time effectively, be detail oriented and multi-task.
- Ability to manage crews and implement ways to maximize efficient use of labor and materials.
- Knowledge of truck and load safety.
- Ability to drive a full size truck
- Clean and valid driver’s license
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Pesticide Applicators License
- Bi-lingual communication skills
- Previous experience with implementation of environmentally sound maintenance techniques
- Positive outlook, enthusiasm and self motivation.
